Who we are

Our History

Welcome to Lititz Collision & Repair, an extension of Barry’s Paint Shop Inc’s rich legacy and commitment to excellence in automotive repair and painting services. Our story dates back to Barry’s passion for automobiles, which ignited in 1973 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

Inception and Growth

Barry’s journey began when he transformed an old chicken house into a workspace, initially focusing on striping and repainting cars as a part-time hobby. The demand for his meticulous work grew swiftly, leading Barry to open Barry’s Paint Shop in 1975. With a property purchase that included a building formerly used as a body shop, Barry had the foundation he needed to bring his passion to a broader audience.

Building Reputation and Expanding Reach

From the start, Barry prioritized customer respect and top-notch service, principles that defined the business’s growth. By 1976, Barry’s Paint Shop had expanded enough to hire its first employee, a testament to its growing reputation for excellence. In 2010, the business took a significant step forward by establishing Barry’s Automotive in Neffsville, extending its services to a wider clientele and enriching the automotive community.
